Olena Chernyshova is a transport and urban planner dedicated to integrated and sustainable transportation development. She specializes in urban transport analysis and planning, SUMP development, non-motorized transport and public transport infrastructure planning as well as in environment and impact analysis of transport projects. She served as mobility advisor to Zhytomyr city administration and as project mentor for the TUMI Challenge Ukraine: Get to School Sustainably! Olena holds a PhD in Transport Engineering and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning and her research was focused on cycling infrastructure development and modeling bicycling flows in cities.
